Taming the Wild: A Day with the Overgrown Patch

Before the cut – quite a challenge, wouldn't you agree?

Yesterday was one of those days where you really see the transformation unfold! We had a particular patch of grass that had, shall we say, embraced its wild side a little too enthusiastically. It had become quite overgrown and was definitely ready for some attention.

It's incredibly satisfying to take an area that's gotten a bit out of hand and bring it back into line. The hours spent on this particular patch yesterday were certainly well worth it. There’s a real pleasure in seeing the immediate difference.

After the cut – neat, tidy, and looking much happier!

For us at Totnes Gardening, it's all about bringing that order and beauty back to your outdoor spaces, no matter how wild they've become. If you've got a section of your garden that's gotten away from you, or indeed any gardening needs from a simple trim to a full tidy-up, you know who to call. We're always happy to help our neighbours here in Totnes keep their gardens looking their best.

You can attract shrews into your garden by turning it into a wildlife haven by leaving a rough area of grass and encouraging plenty of insects and spiders.
